Search Queries
A name or place entered in a search box is transmitted to the outside provider that operates that tool. The provider processes the query and supplies its results. Yuba County Criminal History does not keep or log those search terms on its own system.
Messages and Contact Submissions
An email or other direct message may be retained long enough to respond and maintain the related correspondence. It remains within the operating team unless disclosure is required by law.
Data We Gather Automatically
Loading a page may cause the server to receive ordinary technical and usage details, including:

No Criminal-Record Data on File
Yuba County Criminal History does not assemble, store, or sell a database of personal criminal records. Its published material identifies official access routes for Yuba County custodians, Superior Court, California DOJ, and the California Megan's Law Website. Usage data is not converted into a criminal dossier or consumer report. This service is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies operate the search tools. Information submitted through a tool is governed by that provider's privacy policy rather than this policy. Each provider chooses its retention and disclosure practices, so review those terms before entering a query.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to Yuba County offices, court portals, California agencies, legal resources, and commercial search tools. Once a visitor follows an external link, the destination's privacy rules apply. Review them before providing personal information.
Advertising providers may use their own systems to measure activity across websites and select ads. Their tracking is controlled by their policies.
